Pre-School Entry Visits 

We feel that is most helpful for five year old children to spend some time at school, before they officially start. In this way they have a chance to gradually get used to their new situation. 

The Junior Room Teacher will contact parents (or feel free to contact school) to arrange pre-school visits usually for one day a week for six weeks prior to starting, however this can be flexible. 

School Hours 

First morning session 9.00am – 11.00am 
Interval 11.00am - 11.25am 
Second morning session 11.20am - 12.30pm 
Lunchtime 12.30pm - 1.05pm 
Afternoon session 1.05pm - 1.50pm

Second afternoon session – 2.05pm – 3.00pm

Sportswear 

When representing Isla Bank School at sports events, the following uniform is worn: 

• Isla Bank T-shirts - These are provided by the School for the use at school events. 
• Children are expected to return washed T-shirts after wearing. 
• Shorts/Tracksuit pants - Black. 

Sun Hats

From October - March sun hats are worn by all teachers and students when outside. The cost of the hats is initially subsidised by our School and the remaining $5.00 is included in student accounts.
